Martyrdom and sacrifice are the inventions of those who seek to enslave the gods. They created the concepts to rob you of your self-sufficiency. You are the true and living God, and your kingdom is within you.
Love is not laying your life down for your friends. Love is accepting yourself as perfect without expectation, and extending that same acceptance to all others without any expectation.
Your significance is not dependent upon who you save or help. You are completely significant in your creation, and only lose it when you feel obligated to conform and compromise for the benefit of others.
If the world would be healed, it requires that the heaven within our bodies, and the earth which our bodies are become one again. We have to break free from the ego which relies on the approval of the world, for in gaining the world’s acceptance through martyrdom and sacrifice, you lose your own soul.
