Any of these is correct
It’s time for healing, for new beginnings, for better building
To keep feet off of necks
Or knees, if you please
Whether by klan or police
It’s time to really confront man’s disease
It’s symptoms are racism,
Ignorance, and greed
It’s perversion of spirituality
It’s trying to choke out the seed
It’s natural born Gods
Rather behaving like beasts
Divine beings being serpents
Being dragons in the least
It’s the consumption of skin
When the True Self is light
It’s believing that carnality
Has the wind to win the fight
That isn’t even really a skirmish
It’s actually a long race
But a marathon
Not the race of the color of the face
Voices screaming for justice
And in that they do well
But justice is restoration
It’s the righting of the scale
Human hearts are bleeding
While the heart of the Divine cries
Because only love can bring justice
Not an eye for an eye
Let there be peace on Earth
But true peace is Heaven
But there can be no Heaven
Because people’s egos are leavened
I still can hear Rodney King
Asking “Can we all get along?”
Love’s in need of love today
We need to sing a new song
Did you forget we are the world?
Have you forgotten we are the children?
WE are the ones to make a brighter day
So let’s start giving!
Giving a damn about the future
Giving a fuck about our Souls
Giving some thought and consideration
For how to make The Universe whole
I see your tears, I hear your anger
And yes, I even sit with your pain
But expecting more from the government who has failed so many times before
Insanity all over again
The answer isn’t found in changing others this time
As you can see it wasn’t before
The answer is found in the government within you
Self-discipline is the way and only door
Healing is something that begins in the heart
But the human heart is so diseased
It’s time to watch and pray
Time to put work with your faith
It’s time to get off your backs and onto your knees
On the count of three, we’re gonna all need to push
The world’s in labor, and we all need to breathe
Behold a child is born
Unto us a son is given
So let’s do what we must for the Christs to stop dying
And create a world for our offspring to live in
