You should know this, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at the I AM presence, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. They will act spiritual, but they will reject the power that actually makes them Gods and Goddesses.
Just the fact that this generation feels the need to say their love of Self is not selfish is an indication of doubt. True Self-Love needs no defense, because it is plainly reflected in the way one treats others. Self-Love is a derivative of the love of the Father. This Love is eternal and Divine. It is not sensual. It is the sure evidence that one loves the I AM presence within wholeheartedly. The two laws of The Eternal Kingdom are to love- first the Divine that is within all men, and secondly to love the neighbor as the Self.
Feelings have no affect on Self-Love, though the love of Self is based wholly on experiences. This people bases their perception of loving themselves completely on how they treat themselves. Self-Love for the women in this day is about pleasuring themselves with various tools and devices, enjoying time apart from all others, going to the nail tech” shopping, and getting their eyebrows done. For men, it is masturbation, man-caves, brocations, and metrosexuality.
If you pay attention to what these people in this generation consider Self-Love, it is actually purely escapism. In truly loving Self, I accept fully that I AM a gift and offering to the world. This is not to say that you must wholly neglect yourself, because no one can pour from an empty cup. However, this generation embodies a perception of Self-Love that is rooted in the concept of lack. It is an expression of the poverty mindset, because people only give when they see some type of temporal benefit for themselves.
This is actually a love of the world. Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father within you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father within, but are from this world around you. And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God within them will live forever.
Sadly, this generation, even in all its spirituality, esteems love as a feeling rather than an action or behavior. To these humans, love of Self is giving Self whatever makes Self feel good, and demands frequent reminders of deservedness. This illusion of love says “I deserve to have whatever I like and want, and it is not my problem that others don’t have access to the same.” How do you not perceive the selfishness in this? It is not actually love at all when one ignores the deservedness of all men in order to feel deserving of the satisfaction of the lower self through lusts of the flesh, lusts of the eyes, and pride of life.
