The church has preached for years that the devil’s most effective way to win is to convince people he doesn’t exist. Think about how silly that sounds. There is hardly anyone who isn’t aware of the conceptual existence of a devil. If you pay attention to both the church and to the spiritual community, the devil has them both under the same spell.
Satan is the spirit of manipulation and deception. What satan does is takes something that sounds a lot like the truth, and subtly twists it so that the people buy into it wholeheartedly. This is just how insidious the adversary and accuser is.
For the church, the leaders tweaked the truth just enough to seduce the people into a coma of irresponsibility. The early preachers, as agents of the Roman Empire, made the people think they are powerless to deliver themselves. So, they then convinced the people that salvation was in belief in what they said, and the false image of the Master Jesus that they projected onto the masses.
The spiritual community has cast a spell by taking Biblical words, and twisting them for their own benefit. They prey on people who have no knowledge of the Bible. They twist words that are common to people who are already turned off by religion, and make them believe saving themselves is about casting off everything that appears religious. They cause those who don’t know to believe that saviour and savor are the same.
So the church is waiting for someone to save them. The spiritual community thinks salvation is about experiencing pleasures. The devil (which is really the human ego) has bamboozled them both. Now neither is working out their own Soul’s salvation. Both are searching for temporal happiness, rather than Self-Mastery, and it is Self-Mastery that inherits the Eternal Kingdom.
By manipulating the language, the devil in you has defrauded you of the very thing that you were inherently in possession of. The devil, serpent, dragon, deceiver, manipulator, Anansi doesn’t thrive on anonymity. It thrives on convincing you that it is your friend, and that it loves you. The truth is that it ONLY loves itself, and is loyal only to its own lusts.
Consider the Hebrew mythos, and how the serpent beguiled the woman. If the devil blatantly lied to you, you would be able to recognize it. However, the devil, dragon, serpent, deceiver, manipulator, Anansi, Satan actually plays on your intelligence. While you think yourself too wise to be deceived, the messengers of Satan in the Earth now, make you believe they are giving you something that God wants to withhold from you. These clowns are so insidious that they will have you involuntarily questioning the truth within you. Before you know it, you’ll be a slave to the dragon, and thinking it was of your own free will. You’ll be doing exactly what he wants you to do, and selling your Soul in the process. Whole time thinking you are saving yourself or being saved.
